City Takers Inner City Mission Trips are designed to immerse you in hands-on, life-changing ministry right here in the heart of Atlanta. Our mission is to connect mission teams with real needs and opportunities to serve among Atlanta's urban communities, where poverty, homelessness, and brokenness are met with compassion, hope, and the transformative love of Jesus.

During your stay at City Takers Headquarters, you’ll have the unique opportunity to step into daily life in urban ministry. From community outreach to discipleship and evangelistic training, you’ll work side by side with our City Takers staff and leaders who are deeply invested in this city. We’ll guide your team through impactful service experiences, powerful moments of worship, and hands-on programs where you’ll minister directly to those in need.

As a mission team, you’ll stay in our dorm housing, inside the City Takers HQ in ATL, enjoy provided meals, and follow a customized, action-packed serving itinerary that puts you right alongside City Takers staff. From assisting with weekly programs to reaching out to those most in need, you’ll join us in living out the Gospel among the poor and marginalized.

 FAQs

  • Yes. Cost includes mission dorms with a kitchenette & fridge. Meeting space and common areas are available.

  • Cost is $80/per person/per day. Minimum of 8 people and maximum of 40.

    *Space available for groups larger than 40 upon inquiry.

    Cost includes lodging with linens, all meals, program materials, and 24/7 staff.

    Mission trip lengths are minimum 3 days and maximum 3 months.

  • Daily schedules include morning and night devotionals and prayer tied to service opportunities. Training and equipping sessions are also held prior to all outreach activities.

  • Mission teams serve alongside City Takers staff assisting with weekly programming and outreach. City Takers has a heart for the poor and marginalized and mission team participants are introduced to the needs of the community and mobilized to serve and evangelize the population. This includes homeless outreach, senior outreach, food outreach, youth outreach and other service projects.
