Boxes of Love

The purpose of the Box of Love® outreach is to provide a Thanksgiving meal to families who might not otherwise have one. Each Box of Love (BOL) feeds a family of six. Each box holds a turkey with stuffing or a ham or chicken, along with vegetables, stuffing, cranberry sauce, dessert and more ... plus Scriptures.

We invite you to donate items towards Boxes of Love and/or Host a food drive for Boxes of Love!

Requested items for this food drive include:

  • Canned green beans

  • Canned corn

  • Canned yams

  • Cranberry sauce/jelly

  • Stuffing

  • Instant Potatoes

  • Gravy packets or jars

  • Rice

  • Mac N Cheese

  • Box cake mix

  • Juice

Food drive donations can be received at CT HQ by 11/13.

VOLUNTEER!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15

On Saturday, November 15, City Takers will be hosting a packing event at our mission headquarters (CT HQ) located at 3462 Delmar Ln Atlanta, GA 30331 from 9a - 12p. We are inviting volunteers to help pack 400 Boxes of Love.

We will then be distributing boxes to families at CT HQ 12p - 2p. During this distribution time we will also be offering prayer, hope, encouragement and resources.

We are hosting these events within immediate proximity to the families we are serving and are uniquely positioned to offer life-giving, gospel-centered relationships to these families all year round.
